While there might not necessarily be a big tactical difference between a lush, detailed map and the same map with every tile looking exactly the same, creating a visually interesting map is half the fun of World Builder. Waterfalls are a perfect example of something you can use to help flesh out your map. Open World Builder and either create a new map or open up an existing file. If the map doesn’t already have a cliff, create one. Select the River tool from the toolbar. Select a point on the higher level of terrain where you want the river to begin.
