How Do You Make A Webcomic?
• Find out if you have what it takes to be a web cartoonist. To be a web cartoonist you must; • Be able to draw an identical picture several times in a row. • Be able to draw well enough for people to see clearly what it is you are trying to portray. • Be able to think up new and funny ideas for comics easily. • Have a lot of free time on your hands. • Have some basic knowledge of (X)HTML/CSS and know your way around the Internet. • Think of a concept for your comic that’s appropriate for your audience, e.g. you don’t want to talk about sex if it’s a comic for kids! What is the comic going to be about? • Your life? • Video games? • The Internet? • Relationships? • Sex? • Politics/News? • A group of friends? • College life? • Completely random events? • Completely different things every week, whatever you feel like? It can really be about whatever you want, as long as it will draw an audience and you won’t run out of things to write about quickly. • Decide who your characters will be. A
