This is a window treatment that can be used in a Southwestern home or one that’s just into the cowboy look. It’s fairly easy because there isn’t any actual sewing. You will need to be resourceful to find the items you’ll need. This window treatment is held up with horseshoes. You take two of them and one is flat against the wall, while the other is mounted sticking out with the opening towards the ceiling. This creates a bracket to hold your pole. Take this picture with you to a local metal working shop. They’ll cut one in half, then just spot weld them in place for you quickly. I prefer to paint the bracket black afterwards so it looks more used. Ask at your local lumberyard where you can get a lodge pole.
