• Go to Staples and get one of their clear, medium sized pencil sharpeners. The kind that stands up and it shouldn’t be electric. • Go to your local park. Get a few milliliters of soil. Get a woodchip. The woodchip should be a bit wider than the sharpener. Get a leaf or two. Get a stick and break off a piece about the height of the sharpener. • Go in the soil and find 1-3 ants. Make them walk into a plastic shovel and then put the ants in the plastic bag. The soil will be in the plastic bag with the ants. • Rip up some grass from the ground. • Open up the pencil sharpener. Half of it should be filled with the dirt. Then on top of the dirt place the grass. Then place the woodchip kind of diagonally. Place the leaf on the side, and then place the twig next to the leaf. Place the ants inside, close the pencil sharpener and then watch them live in the habitat!
