This antifungal nail treatment works great to help get rid of nail fungus and infections. Red Cedar Leaves may be hard to find in your area, but they can’t be substituted with anything else. For the Red Cedar leaves, make sure the 1/4 cup is tight packed. Take the leaves, and chop them into smaller pieces, or put them in a processor. The pieces should be around 1/10th of their original size, a bit less would be fine, but you don’t want them to be finely ground. Put the leaves into a small glass jar. If possible, use a dark glass jar, not a clear one. Warm the water in a double broiler set to high for about 2 minutes, then pour the water over the leaves. Add in the glycerin and alcohol, then stir the mixture together gently. Put the lid on tight, and store in a cool, dry place. Allow the mixture to set for about 10 days.
