How Do You Make An Awesome Dish Garden?
I decided to make a cute little dish garden for my friends’ housewarming party. It has special significance for them since they met at the beach. I put cuttings from a really beautiful tree that is located there. I used Jiffy rooting soil and Rootone, Rooting Hormone. I hope that at least some of the cuttings will survive so that they can plant them in their yard and have a continuous souvenir of this awesome tree. I put alligators in the “ocean” deliberately because we have witnessed alligators swimming in the ocean here on more than one occasion! I found a large metal pan at Wal-mart. I placed it on newspapers outside and sprayed it with Rust-Oleum Spray Primer. I turned it over when it was dry and sprayed the underside. Once the primer dried, I sprayed it with a coat of Krylon Indoor/Outdoor spray paint in Bahama Sea. I let that dry and then sprayed it with another coat.
