How Do You Make An Easy Peanut Butter Bread With Chocolate Chips?

0

This is a very easy recipe! If you are a fan of peanut butter, this is a great bread to serve with your favorite jam. Nice breakfast treat or snack for the kids. This recipe calls for adding 1/2 cup of chocolate chips too as it adds a nice crunch to the bread. You certainly can leave out the chips if you desire. No mixer needed. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Grease a 8x4x3 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar, l teaspoon of salt (Kosher preferably) and 4 teaspoons of baking powder. In another bowl combine 1 1/2 cups of milk (whole or lowfat), 1/2 cup of peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)together. Pour this into the flour mixture and mix well. (You can pour the milk into the flour mixture first then add the peanut butter if you prefer.) Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to batter until combined. Pour into a greased loaf pan. Bake for approximately 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
