How Do You Make An Easy Peanut Butter Ice Cream Pie?
An ice cream pie is a scrumptious way to cool your family down on a hot day. Try my peanut butter ice cream pie. With every bite, you’ll say, “Mmmmm.” In a large mixing bowl, stir together the softened ice cream and 4 ounces whipped topping until well combined. Spoon into prepared pie crust – about 1/4- inch from top of crust. You will have left-over ice cream/whipped topping mixture. That’s okay; you can freeze the extra and put it into a container to put into ice cream cones later. Spread a thin layer of peanut butter onto the ice cream/whipped topping mixture. Drizzle on the chocolate syrup or hot fudge topping. If using hot fudge topping, slightly warm this in microwave to be able to better drizzle over pie. Cover and freeze for 4 hours, or overnight. Just before serving, spread remaining 4 ounces whipped cream over pie. You can make ice cream pie with any flavor ice cream.
