How Do You Make An Elmo Cake?
Is your child a huge fan of Elmo? Do you need to make a fun birthday cake? Here’s an easy way to make your child’s birthday fun by making a special cake. Step 1 Buy the Wilton Elmo cake pan. Grease pan with shortening & flour or spray with cooking spray that contains flour. Make sure you get all the crevices in the pan. Step 2 Mix cake mix according to box instructions and pour into pan. Bake cake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes – testing the cake to make sure it’s done. Cool for 10 minutes and then slice of the raised portion of the cake so it’s even on the bottom. Remove cake from the pan, by placing the cooling rack under the pan and flipping over. Cool cake at least an hour. Place on large flat cake serving plate. Step 3 Use my decorator frosting recipe (see other articles) and tint small portions at a time with Wilton food coloring.
