How Do You Make An Outdoor Party Room?
I’m fortunate to live in a climate where we can entertain outdoors almost all year. Here’s how to tailor that outdoor space for lots of fun with friends and family. In Florida, large screen rooms are popular. They keep out the bugs and other critters. Essentially putting up a screen room gives lots of outdoor living space and much more cheaply than interior space. Add lighting. Party lights can be strung overhead for special occasions. Running rope lights around the perimeter defines the space and looks festive. Adding some fun lighting like palm trees also adds to the party decor. Be sure the outdoor area has plenty of power points for all these lights. Supplement your regular patio table with lightweight folding tables and chairs. These store compactly in your garage or basement, but provide adequate seating for a crowd. No more juggling plates of food and a glass of wine.
