How Do You Make And Shape Chocolate Truffles?

0

Who doesn’t like a chocolate truffle? They taste wonderful and look so refined. And to top it off they make for great gifts during the holidays. These truffles are easy to make and once you make the mixture you can shape and coat them whenever you have the time. You’re sure to impress your friends and family if you make these truffles. In mixing bowl combine chocolate and butter and set aside. In large sauce pan, bring cream to a boil (be careful not to scorch). Remove pan from heat. Pour hot cream over chocolate and butter and stir until mixture is smooth. Cover with wrap and chill in refrigerator over night. Sprinkle cocoa powder onto a plate. Scoop truffle mixture into a size that is just smaller than a golf ball. Roll between hands until round. Roll in cocoa to coat and place on a clean plate. After all have been coated, wrap in plastic and chill until ready to eat.
