How Do You Make Apple Pecan Stuffing?
Give your Thanksgiving meal a fruity and nutty twist with this tasty apple pecan dressing. Spoil your guests with this classic and easy recipe. Preheat oven to 325F. Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat. Add onion and celery. Saute until softened. Remove from heat. Pour the celery/onion mixture into a large bowl. Mix in the bread, apple and pecans. In a separate bowl, combine the stock, egg, sage, salt and pepper. Blend well. Add the stock mix to the bread mixture and mix gently by hand. Pour stuffing into a greased 2 qt casserole. Cover with foil. Bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil lid and cook uncovered for 5 minutes.
