How Do You Make Baklava For Christmas?
Baklava is a delicious pastry that looks like a time-consuming, bust-your-butt-in-the-kitchen, gourmet dessert. But in all honesty, it’s very easy to make! Anybody can do it, even a kid. First: Get a 9×13 pan and either spray it with a non-stick cooking spray or line it with tin foil. I lined mine with tin foil and it worked like a charm, no sticking and no mess! Melt two sticks of butter. I melt mine in a measuring cup so it’s easy to pour. Second: Get a cutting board and chop a whole big bag of walnuts until they are extremely fine. Put them into a big bowl and toss with a tablespoon of cinnamon. Set aside for now. Third: Open your phylo dough and unfold. Use a damp paper towel to cover it once opened to prevent it from drying out and ripping, it’s extremely thin. Place two sheets of phylo on the bottom of the pan and spread butter over them. Follow that with two more sheets and a butter layer. Do this until you have four layers…(2 sheets, butter, 2 sheets, butter, 2 sheets, butter
