How Do You Make Barbecued Chicken Lettuce Wraps?

0

Many people are in search of quick, nutritious, low-carb recipes to put together. If you have a busy schedule and are often on the run most, barbecued chicken lettuce wraps may be a good option. Experiment with different combinations of vegetables and condiments until you find your favorite. Cube any left over barbecue chicken that you may have from the day before. Baked chicken will work, too–just add some barbecue sauce. Dice some tomatoes and onions. Also set aside some sour cream, avocado dip and shredded cheddar cheese. Take a trocadero lettuce leaf and place some of the cubed chicken in the center. Add additional barbecue sauce, tomatoes and onions. Pile on some avocado dip and sour cream and sprinkle on the cheese. Roll up all the ingredients in the lettuce leaf. Take one long chive and wrap it around the center of the lettuce wrap. Tie the ends together. Cut off the ends so it looks neat. Cut off the ends of the lettuce wrap, too, so that the presentation looks fresh.
