How Do You Make Bracelets Out Of Reused Plastic?

0

You can create interesting bracelets and help to ease the burden on a landfill by reusing plastic toothbrushes when you’re through brushing your teeth with them. This is a quick and easy craft, and you probably have everything you need so it won’t cost you anything. Make sure to use toothbrushes that don’t have rubber gripping on them. Pour about an inch of cold water into a bowl. Add a handful of ice cubes and set it aside. Choose a glass, coffee mug or jar roughly the diameter that you want your finished bracelet to be, and set it aside. Pour an inch or two of water into a pot large enough to lay the toothbrush flat in. Bring the water to a rolling boil. Pull the bristles out of the toothbrush with needle nose pliers while you’re waiting for the water to boil. Remove the pot from the heat and drop the toothbrush into it. Let it soak for about five minutes. The hot water will begin to soften the toothbrush so that you’ll be able to bend it easily. Use tongs to take the toothbrush out
