How Do You Make Caramel Apple Burritos?
Fall weather brings about cravings for apples and sweets. Caramel apples are definitely a family favorite. Give them a healthy twist this fall in an easy-to-make roll-up that even the youngest children can make by themselves. Put on an apron. Wash your hands thoroughly. Remember to sing a song like “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” while you scrub to ensure a good washing. Wash the apple. Core the apple and slice it. For simpler bites, dice the apple slices. Lay the burrito or wrap on a plate and spread the caramel apple dip all over the middle. Place at least three apple slices in a column in the middle of the burrito or wrap, or enough chunks to run down the middle. Fold over both sides, or gently roll the burrito around the apple slices. If you can, try to also fold the bottom a little bit so that the apples don’t slide out when you’re eating it. Put a napkin on your lap. Take a big sticky bite!
