This simple recipe will have your taste buds begging for more. Acquire 2 lbs. of fresh local white shrimp (head off) from your local seafood market. Wash and rinse the shrimp and dry off using paper towels. Add 1 cup of water, 1 cup of vinegar and 1/4 cup of hot sauce to the 2 quart pot and bring to a boil. Add the shrimp to the mixing bowl and spray with cooking spray. Liberally coat with 3-4 tablespoons of zatarans seasoning and 1 tablespoon of sea salt and toss to coat evenly. Spices should appear to be caked on thoroughly. Add shrimp to the steamer basket and lower into the boiling pot. Cover, and allow to steam for 3-5 minutes until the shrimp are pink. Remove lid, and remove steamer basket of shrimp. Add shrimp to a serving plate. Peel, and eat.
