How Do You Make Cheap (Inexpensive) Silhouette Wall Art For A Childs Bedroom?
If you are looking for a quick way to make some inexpensive wall art for your child’s room, consider silhouette wall art. This is a fun project that you can do with your child. My daughter takes dance lessons, so we chose dancers for the silhouettes. Some other ideas are skateboarders, skiers, vehicles, trains, trees, and skylines. Choose the pictures that you will be using. These can come from magazines or online. We printed some dancing pictures off of the Internet. If you are choosing people, try to choose pictures with some action. The legs and arms should not be close to the body for the best silhouette. Keep in mind that the silhouette will appear facing the opposite direction of the picture you choose. Take out your cardstock. Solid colors work best. This will become the silhouette. On the back of the cardstock, lightly spray the adhesive. Place your picture on the adhesive. Allow it to dry for a minute. Carefully cut around the picture to form the silhouette.
