How Do You Make Cheddar Cheese Appetizers?

Make these classic cheese puffs for your next party, they are sure to be a hit! In a bowl, mix the cheese, flour and butter and stir together well. Scoop out about 1 teaspoon full at a time, and form into round balls, about the size of walnuts. Flatten each ball, and press an olive in the center. Fold the cheese mixture around the olive and seal the edges. Repeat with remaining cheese mixture until all is used. Transfer the puffs to a freezer safe plate and cover with waxed paper. Freeze for at least 4 hours. This will help the cheese solidify and bake more completely. Preheat oven to 375 degrees, and move rack to center position. Lightly spray a baking sheet with non-stick spray. Bake the cheddar cheese puffs for 8-10 minutes until nicely browned. Remove to cool on wire racks, but serve slightly warm for best flavor.
