How Do You Make Chicken Lettuce Wraps?

Asian lettuce wraps are a delicious and easy dinner. If you get them in a restaurant, they are full of calories, fat and salt, but if you make them at home, they can be healthy and full of vegetables and lean protein. Decide what vegetables you want. I like red onion, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, and bean sprouts. Chop the desired amount into small, uniform pieces. If you want meat in the wrap, chop either chicken or shrimp into uniform pieces, similar in size to the vegetables. You want everything to be a uniform size so it cooks evenly. Sauté the meat and vegetables in a wok or deep skillet in some canola or grapeseed oil mixed with sesame oil over high heat. (Grapeseed is as healthy as olive oil, but holds up better with high heat) When everything is almost done, add two tablespoons of jarred hoisin sauce (sweet, similar to barbecue), a few good splashes of soy sauce, and the juice of half of a lime. For heat, add some Sriracha (Rooster) sauce, which is an Asian spicy red chili
