How Do You Make Chinese Chicken Lettuce Wraps?
If you have ever wanted to make lettuce wraps at home that taste just like the ones you can find at P.F. Changs or Rainforest Cafe, look no further. Katie Lee Joel published this recipe in the March 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan magazine. I love it! Step 1 Combine seasoning, water, soy sauce, line juice, and sugar. Set this mixture aside for use later. Step 2 Heat the canola oil in a large skillet on medium heat. Add the uncooked chicken, and cook it until it is browned. Make sure the chicken is broken up and completely cooked. Step 3 Add the pepper, water chestnuts (optional), scallions, and chili flakes. Then mix in and let cook for about 5 minutes. Step 4 Add the seasoning mixture that was set aside earlier. Mix this in cook it in the skillet until all the liquid (the oil, water, soy sauce) evaporates. This should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Step 5 Once the mixture has cooled down, you are now ready to serve it. Make sure it is still warm, and serve with leaves of lettuce and the option
