How Do You Make Chocolate Chip Tea Cakes (Cookies)?

Here is another favorite of my family. Get your gal friends together for tea and these cookie cakes. You will be the talk of the party with high marks for these simple to make goodies. The serving plate will be gone quickly so make sure to have extras on hand along with the recipe to share. Enjoy! Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add in vanilla mixing well. Gradually beat in flour and nuts. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of chocolate chip morsels. Hand roll dough into 1 inch balls and place on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes just until set and the bottoms are a light golden brown. Cool for 2 minutes on sheet and then move to racks to cool completely. In the microwave, heat the remaining chocolate chip morsels in a ziplock bag for 30 to 45 seconds. Add 10 seconds as needed until the chocolate is melted, kneading each time until smooth. Cut a tiny corner from the bag. Squeeze to drizzle over the baked and cooled cookies. Refrig
