Purchase raffia from the craft store. Wrap strands of raffia around a 4- to 6-inch square of cardboard until you have a fat bundle. Thread several pieces of raffia through one end of the bundle. Tie them off tightly so that you have all the raffia tied together at one end. Cut the opposite end of the raffia with scissors so that you have a pom-pom. Thread the strands of raffia that you used to tie off the pom-pom through the drain hole in the clay pot. The cut ends should be protruding from the mouth of the pot.
