0

Instead of a standard cake that lacks imagination, perhaps a giant cookie would be a fun change of pace for some parties and celebrations. With basic cookie dough batter, you can easily make large cookies in different shaped cake pans. Because cake pans come in a variety of fun character and sporting shapes, the giant cookies are certain to fit whatever theme you need. Make the cookie batter according to your recipe and set it aside. Place a piece of parchment paper onto a flat work surface and place the cake pan onto the center of the parchment paper. Use the pencil to trace around the outside of the cake pan onto the parchment paper. Cut out the shape with the scissors and discard the scraps of parchment paper. Scoop out a small amount of vegetable shortening onto the paper towel and grease the inside side edges of the cake pan. Place the cut parchment paper into the cake pan so that it fits perfectly. Press the cookie batter into the prepared cake pan, making sure it is at least 1/2
