How Do You Make Cranberry Orange Relish?

0

For a fresh taste, try Cranberry Orange Relish with your holiday meal. It’s made with a whole orange, including the orange peel. The tangy citrus flavor contrasts nicely with turkey and stuffing, and it’s quick and easy to make. Here’s how to do it. Using a food processor or vegetable chopper, process a whole bag of cranberries, a little at a time, until well chopped. Put into a large bowl. Wash the outside of a navel orange, (make sure you use this type of orange, as it is seedless) pop out the stem remainder, and cut into pieces small enough to put into the food processor or vegetable chopper. Chop until fine and mix with the chopped cranberries. Add 3/4 to 1 cup sugar to the mix, (a whole cup if you like it sweeter), and mix well. Refrigerate and allow flavors to meld for at least 2 hours before serving. Fits in nicely with traditional holiday meals.
