How Do You Make Crispy Cinnamon Flour Tortillas?

0

Crispy Cinnamon flour tortillas are good with breakfast or as a snack all by themselves. They are really tasty to eat and simple to make. They are nice served cut up in pie shaped wedges served with applesauce to dip them in or alongside of sliced apple wedges. Yogurt also tastes good with these fried tortillas. Cinnamon flour tortillas are also good cut up and served on top of ice cream. Preheat the frying pan on medium high temperature setting, then pour at least a tablespoon of oil in the bottom of the pan. Let the oil heat up. Set the flour tortilla in the oil and heat until high spots a re a nice medium to dark brown color. Turn the tortilla over with tongs or a fork and repeat on the other side. You may have to add more oil. Remove the tortilla from the pan and set on an open piece of paper toweling to remove excess oil. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar over both sides of the tortilla and let it sit for a few moments. Then slice and serve by themselves as a snack or with a dip.
