How Do You Make Delicious Chocolate Truffles?
Chocolate Truffles fill a heart with love and tummy with Yummy. This recipe is easy to make and so delicious! Ingredients: 11 ounces chocolate (57% cacao) 2/3 c. heavy cream Cocoa powder for dusting (makes about 50 truffles) Finely chop 8 ounces of chocolate ad place in a bowl. In a heavy saucepan, bring the cream to a boil. Watch cream for scorching. After it comes to a boil, take it off the heat and let it cool for 2 minutes. Then bring to a boil again. Pour cream over the chocolate and mash the large pieces. With a whisk, stir chocolate. Let the chocolate (or ganache) stand at room temperature for one hour, until it is thick enough to hold a shape. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Make chocolate into one inch mounds on the baking sheets. (you can use a pastry bag or an ice cream scooper). Freeze or refrigerate until firm.
