How Do You Make Delicious Easy Hazelnut Cookie Bars?
Need a quick delicious easy cookie recipe that is somewhat healthy, too. When you add hazelnuts with brown sugar, wow! What a super treat! Quick enough to make just before heading out the door to that Holiday party after a busy day. If you like walnuts or pecans instead, just substitute using the same measurements. Stir together the egg, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt, quickly until a soft dough forms. Add the coarsely hazelnuts. One of my best purchases ever was a chopper from Pampered Chef. Hazelnuts are not one of the easiest nuts to chop as they want to roll all over the cutting board. With the Pampered Chef chopper they are contained in the little cup, and the chopper turns after every chop, making chopping more uniform. Spread the cookie mixture in the greased 8 inch baking pan. Sprinkle the saved nuts on the top. Bake in the 350 degree oven for about 18 to 20 minutes. Cookies will be soft in the center. Don’t over bake Cool in the pan, then cut into
