How Do You Make Delicious “Moms”S Cookie Bars?
My mom has been making these delicious cookie bars ever since I can remember. They are very easy to make, and they are truly a delight to eat. They are great to have for company, or just to have for your family. But remember, if they are in the house for your family, they won’t last long!!! Let the butter soften in a large bowl. Add the cup of sugar and mix well. Divide the egg up into the yolk and the white. Add the egg yolk to the mixture and mix well. Put the egg white aside. Mix the two cups of flour with the two tsp. of cinnamon. Add that mixture to the previous one, and mix well. You might want to use your hands to mix it together, as it is easier to mix together that way. It is easy to put some non stick aluminum foil on the cookie sheet, and press the mixture evenly in the pan. Beat the egg white well with a beater until it becomes the consistency of meringue. Spread it evenly on top of the cookie dough. Press the nuts down on the egg whites, so that they will stick to the doug
