How Do You Make Delicious Pumpkin Raisin Bread?
This is an easy Pumpkin Raisin Bread recipe for the winter or fall that doesn’t take a lot of time and work, and tastes great eaten warm, spread with butter. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, and grease two bread loaf pans. In a large bowl, mix a 16 ounce can of pumpkin, 3 eggs, ¾ cup of oil, and ¼ cup applesauce together using a fork. In a separate large bowl, mix three cups of flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, ½ teaspoon baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, I cup of sugar, ½ cup brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg , and ½ teaspoon of ground cloves. Stir the pumpkin mixture into the flour mixture just until the flour is moistened. You don’t want to over mix the ingredients. Next, stir in a cup of raisins, and spoon the pumpkin bread mixture into the loaf pans evenly. Bake the loaves for one hour and 15 minutes. Let the loaves cool in the pans for at least fifteen minutes before removing from the pans.
