Making denim jean purses are fun to make and very fashionable. You can get creative and add your favorite buttons and pins to your denim purse. Read on to learn one of the ways to make a denim jean purse. Prepare your jeans by washing them and ironing them first. Lay jeans flat on table and cut the pant legs off as if you are making a pair of shorts. Cut away the crotch underneath the back pockets making sure you don’t cut the zipper. At this point you should have a top half of the jean with no crotch but zipper in tack. Put the pant legs to the side for later use. Turn the top part of your old jeans that you just cut inside out and sew across the bottom twice to reinforce your purse bottom. Turn right side out.
