Fleece lends itself to fast projects because the raw edges do not need to be finished. Trim them into a fringe, hand sew the edges with a blanket stitch or leave them simply plain. Measure a piece of fleece that is large enough to cover a baby doll. Add several inches to both the length and width to make the blanket comfortably large enough to cover the doll. If you will be cutting a fringed border, add several more inches to both dimensions. Cut the fleece to the determined dimensions. Sew a blanket stitch around the edge of the fleece with yarn. Bring a threaded needle up from the bottom at a point just inside an edge of the fleece. Insert the needle down diagonally and to the right about 1/4 inch away.
