How Do You Make Duct Tape Clothing?
Duct tape has almost limitless uses. One of the items you can make with the tape is clothing. Its a fad of sorts, but well liked because of the glossy shine that the material offers. It is an easy yet time consuming process to create the material needed to produce clothing. You can, however, make any article of clothing you wish to with duct tape. Create the material from duct tape by laying the first piece of duct tape flat with sticky side up. Take two additional pieces of duct tape and lay them over top of the first piece, each half way down. Continue this process until you have the desired length of material for your shirt. Optionally, more than one color of duct tape may be used. Wash the material with soapy water to remove any excess sticky residue. Place the jersey you are using for a pattern over top of the now dried duct tape material. Trace the jersey with a marker to mark the pattern to cut (front and back).
