Fill up your cups or bowls approx. 2/3 of the way with water. Add approx. 1 tablespoon of vinegar. If you use larger bowls, you will need a bit more. Add food coloring to your bowls. I add about 5 drops. Mix it up. If you want brighter or darker colors, add a bit more. Dip your egg into the bowl to color it. Hold it in there for approx. 30 seconds. I use a spoon to get it in and out. This keeps the dye off your fingers as much as possible.
