How Do You Make Easy Asparagus Appetizers?
These quick and easy Asparagus Appetizers are a delicious addition to any buffet or spread. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Remove the crust from your white bread, removing as little of the center as possible. Remove the woody end from your asparagus, which is usually the first inch or so of the spear. Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread slices. You want them to be as flat as possible to begin, as they will expand with the passage of time. Cut bread slices in half. Mix your cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce (optional) in a small bowl, being careful to incorporate all ingredients. Using a spatula or butter knife, spread your cream cheese mixture over one side of the bread. Lay asparagus on cheese mixture and roll. The bread will overlap itself, but that is what you want to happen. Repeat step 5 for remaining asparagus and bread. Cut each spear/bread roll into three or four equal pieces, depending on your preference, and arrange in rows on a cookie sheet. Microwave
