How Do You Make Easy Fresh Cranberry Sauce?
Many people like cranberry sauce with their stuffing for Thanksgiving or Christmas. I personally like cranberry sauce with meats all year round. This is a simple recipe that you can make with fresh cranberries — even frozen ones. Wash the fresh cranberries. Thaw berries if they are frozen. Measure out the sugar and water and add with the cranberries to a medium saucepan with a lid. Stir and bring the ingredients to a boil on high heat. Reduce the heat to medium low and cover the berry mixture. Let it boil until all of the berries have popped and the sugar/water mixture is very thick. This is a quick process and happens quicker than you think. Something int he cranberries must make this quicken quickly because you won’t have to boil it very long – approximately 10 minutes – but judge the time by the texture (popped berries – thick sauce). Pour up the cranberry sauce quickly in your serving bowl. It looks very pretty in a white milk-glass goblet. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
