Ever little girl and teenager wants to know how to make there very own homemade lip gloss. It is true that lip gloss can be made at home with a few simple ingredients. Here is on of my favorite recipes for homemade lip gloss. Get out a small bowl and mix inside 1 tablespoon of vegetable shortening with 1 teaspoon of honey. In a separate small bowl mix together some of your drink mix and 1/4 teaspoon of hot water until it is dissolved. Stir in as much drink mix as you can because the more drink mix the strongest the color and flavor will be. Add one drop of the water mixture to the vegetable shortening base and stir it together well. Repeat this process until you get the desired color and flavor your looking for. Once you do pour the mixture into a clear container or old lip gloss pot. Store it in the refrigerator for a day before using. Enjoy!
