How Do You Make Easy Pepperoni Pizza Rolls From Scratch?
In Texas we had a favorite restaurant called Double Dave’s that served the best Pepperoni Pizza Roll that you have ever had! Since moving away, we haven’t been able to find anything like it. So, I finally figured out how to make it myself. With a little frozen dough, pepperoni, and mozzarella cheese you can make these in a snap. A few hours before you want to make your pizza rolls, you need to sit your Rhodes Frozen Roll dough out to thaw. Remove frozen rolls from bag and place on wax paper, so that they have room to thaw and begin to rise. The dough is ready when it is nice and soft. If it is still frozen in spots, it will be nearly impossible to roll out. I can usually get my dough thawed in about four hours. Take each roll and cut in half. Flour a working space and rolling pin. Roll out one half of roll very flat. It should be in a rectangular shape, basically longer on the sides and more narrow across.
