How Do You Make Easy Salmon Patties?
These easy but tasty salmon patties make fixing dinner a snap. Just open a can or foil package of salmon and throw everything else in. Healthier and cheaper than store-bought fish sticks, your kids will love them! Mix salmon, mayo, lemon juice, garlic and onion powders, seasoned salt, and egg in a large mixing bowl. Stir until well combined. Add in 1 cup of the crushed crackers and mix well. Pour the other 1/2 cup crackers on a large plate or into a wide bowl. Scoop a spoonful of salmon mixture from the bowl and roll it in the crackers, then flatten it into a patty. Repeat with remaining salmon mixture. Heat butter or oil in a large skillet, or spray the skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Fry the patties on medium heat until golden brown on each side (cook on slightly lower heat for cooking spray). Remove from skillet to a plate covered with paper towels and drain. Top with more mayo, tartar sauce, or lemon juice.
