How Do You Make Easy Savory French Toast?
I am not particularly fond of sweet foods, so I decided to make a French toast that doesn’t have all the sweet factors in it. My kids also love this variation of French toast. It is very simple to make and I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does. This recipe only makes four French Toast, so if you want to make more you need to adjust the recipe. Usually my rule of thumb is 2 eggs to every 4 pieces of bread. I use American bread, it doesn’t have to be an expensive bread just a sliced loaf. Start by cracking your eggs into a bowl, then scrambling them with your fork. I don’t measure. I just add a splash of milk into the scrambled eggs. If you are uncomfortable doing that it is 1/8 cup of milk. Then you add the salt and pepper to taste. That is it guys that is the batter. How simple and it tastes great After you get the batter completed. Heat your griddle pan or frying pan. Usually medium heat works.
