With money being a little tight this season, why not buy a few low cost supplies and recycle some baby food jars to make a luxurious bath salt for stocking stuffers or the perfect addition to any gift basket? Follow these simple instructions to hand make the perfect gift for friends and family. To make a dozen 4 oz jars of bath salts, you will need about 4 pounds of Epsom salt. They are sold in 4 pound containers. Pour the salts into a large mixing bowl. Add six tablespoons of Baking Soda to the salts and mix completely. Add 10-20 drops of essential oils to your salt mixture. For mine, I used only peppermint, about 20 drops. This could be mixed with rosemary or spearmint to create an energizing and exhilarating salt mixture.
