How Do You Make Fall Themed Earrings?
Fall is a magic time of year with the changing colors of the leaves, and the brisk chill in the air. It can lead to many creative ideas for crafts. One fun craft is making handmade earrings. With a few leaf charms and fall-colored beads, you can have the perfect fall accessory in no time. Browse through Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Art Beads (see Resources) or the craft section at Wal-Mart to find fall color beads such as red, yellow and gold, deep green, royal blue, purple or orange. Then find some fall leaf charms. Buy other supplies that are necessary to complete your pair of earrings such as ear wires, thick beading wire and crimp beads. String three of your fall-colored beads onto the thick bead wire, and then place the leaf charm in the middle. String the other three beads after the charm. Put a crimp bead at the end of the beads and squeeze it together with beading pliers. Make a loop at the top of the wire and close it on the loop of the ear wire. Do the same of your second earring.
