How Do You Make Fresh Peach Cobbler?
When peaches are in season, nothing can beat fresh peach cobbler! COBBLER INGREDIENTS: 1 large egg, beaten 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup milk 1/4 cup melted butter 3 cups fresh sliced peaches 1 Tablespoon lemon juice In a mixing bowl, stir together egg, sugar, vanilla, flour, baking powder, salt, milk and melted butter. Pour into a greased 9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle fresh peaches with lemon juice. Arrange on top of batter. TOPPING INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cup sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon Sprinkle over top of cobbler. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve with warm milk or whipped cream.
