How Do You Make Gnocchi With Gorgonzola?

0

This recipe is for about 4 people. Gorgonzola is a veined cheese, has been made since the Middle-Ages, but only became marbled with Mold in the eleventh century. And it is frequently used in Italian cooking, but the cheese itself is not always loved by many because of the smell and the particular taste. The gnocchi are small round “potato dumplings”, and they are easy, tasty and fast to cook. First step is to put water in a pan and wait for it to boil adding a pinch of salt. Then in a pan add the margarine (or butter) and cook on low heat for a minute or two, then add the diced gorgonzola, and the (optional) cooking cream and continue to cook, stirring on medium low heat, until it becomes creamy. At this point the water will be boiling so add the gnocchi and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes. When ready add the gnocchi to the gorgonzola cream mix and serve hot, and if you want sprinkle some parmesan cheese on top. 5. When ready add the gorgonzola cream, mix and serve hot.
