How Do You Make Goat Cheese Dessert?

0

This luscious no bake dessert is called Coeur a la Creme. Roughly translated, it means “heart of the cream”. There’s a mold made specifically for this recipe but you don’t need it to make this dessert. You can substitute an aluminum pie tin with holes poked in it. Paired with the simple raspberry sauce, it blends sweet and sour to perfection. Chocolate leaves and berry topping are optional. Line the mold or an aluminum pie tin with cheesecloth, allowing ends to hang over sides. In a bowl, beat goat cheese, cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer until light. Whip cream in a separate bowl. Fold 1/4 of it into cheese mixture to lighten, then fold in remainder. Spoon mixture into mold and smooth top. Fold ends of cheesecloth over cheese mixture, cover with plastic wrap and place mold on a plate to catch whey. It may produce a few drops or a puddle depending on the moisture in the brand of cheese used. Refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Discard whey. Melt chocolate in microwa
