How Do You Make Grandmas Homemade Beef Vegetable Soup With Noodles?

Here is a wonderful recipe for homemade vegetable soup that has been passed down in my family for generations. The mouth-watering aroma of the mixture of vegetables is such a comforting and yummy combination when added with noodles. Make a big pot and freeze it, you will never want canned vegetable soup again. Besides all of the chopping up of vegetables, it is very easy to make. My children, who are very picky, LOVE when I make this soup. It’s good for freezing as well. Grab a large soup pot, fill halfway with water. Chop up your celery, onion, and roast. Boil for one hour. Skim the top of soup if needed. Add beef bullion and garlic. Cook for another hour. When your meat begins to get tender, add the carrots, rutabaga, potatoes, tomato sauce and chopped can of tomatoes. Cook for about an hour. Add your cabbage, beans, and corn. If you prefer a spicier broth, add 1/8 cup of black pepper or red pepper flakes. Boil for about an hour. Serve with noodles and enjoy!
