How Do You Make Great Grilled Chicken Kabobs?
Summer is here and it is time to break out the barbecue grill. Here is a recipe for great grilled chicken kabobs. I actually got this recipe out of an old microwave cookbook. I use the recipe for a marinade and then cook the kabobs on the grill. Ive modified the recipe just a little. 3 uncooked chicken breasts thawed 1/4 cup soy sauce 2 teaspoons sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1/8 teaspoon ginger 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 tablespoons honey pineapple juice from can of pineapples veggies of choice cut up into bite sized pieces mushrooms peppers onions tomatoes cucumber eggplant zucchini pineapple chunks Place veggies and chicken in a bag with sauce mixture for 1 hour. You can do it for 30 minutes if you are in a hurry. The longer it sits the better it tastes. Alternate chicken and veggies on skewers and place them on grill to cook.
