Potato soup is a very popular soup and for good reason. It is relatively easy to make and pretty cheap. The problem with any potato soup recipe is creating a soup with taste that keeps them coming back for me. That requires a few extras to spice things up. First chop the potatoes using roughly an entire 10 lb bag. Chopping up the potatoes is critical to make the best potato soup recipe. Make sure each slice is about the size of a nickel or quarter. The smaller the better as it creates a soup that is easier to eat and takes less time to cook. Boil the potatoes, but not to the point where they are fully cooked.
