How Do You Make Hamburgers On The Grill?
No barbecue is complete without grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and they taste great as a charcoal-grilled ”burger” on a bun, topped with ketchup, onions and relish. The aroma from the grill and the taste of the first bite makes it almost impossible to eat only one. Buy already shaped hamburgers from the meat department, frozen from the store freezer or make your own patties using freshly ground meat from the butcher. Make the patties by adding 1 raw egg, dash of seasonings, 2 tablespoons ketchup, 1 cup bread crumbs and about 1 to 2 tablespoons of water (depending on how much chopped meat you have). Form the patties (packing lightly) and place them on a plate or platter. Cover with a sheet of waxed paper and put them into the refrigerator to keep cold. When it’s time to grill, remove and place the raw burgers on the hot grill. Smell the aroma of the grilled burger, as the the flames hit the burger and it starts to cook. Use the spatula and turn once. Grill until rare, medium or well
