How Do You Make Hidden Files Appear In Windows?
Chances are your computer has hundreds of hidden files that don’t appear on your desktop or menus. Sometimes you may need to access them to make changes or transfer files. One time this is necessary is for transferring music from your iPod to your computer, instead of vice-versa. Making hidden files appear is the first step in this process. Also, malware, spyware and viruses are often hidden in files that are marked not to be apparant. Making hidden folders visible makes them easier to find and eradicate. Start by pulling up the “Start” menu. Then pull up “My Computer.” This is often also on the desktop. Select “Tools” from within the “My Computer” section.
